How do I record a sermon?+

Tap the + button on the home screen and select Record. Berea will begin live transcription automatically. You can pause and resume at any time. When finished, tap Stop and your sermon will be saved with a full transcript.

Can I use Berea offline?+

Yes. Berea includes Apple's on-device speech recognition as a fallback when you don't have an internet connection. Features like summaries and quizzes require an internet connection.

How do I import audio from YouTube?+

From the home screen, tap the + button and select 'YouTube Import.' Paste the YouTube URL and Berea will extract the audio, transcribe it, and generate study materials automatically.

What languages are supported?+

Berea supports 13 languages: English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Korean, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, German, Dutch, Italian, Hindi, and Japanese. Sermons recorded in one language can be automatically translated to another.

Is my data private?+

Your data is stored securely and encrypted. We never sell your data or use it for advertising. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

What is Prayer Lock?+

Prayer Lock is a focused prayer mode that displays your prayer requests full-screen with an optional timer. You can also choose to block other apps during your session so nothing pulls you away from prayer.

How does the Faith Profile work?+

Your Faith Profile lets you select your denomination, share your beliefs, and upload your church's statement of faith. Berea uses this information to personalize summaries, interpretations, and study materials to align with your theological tradition.

Can I share sermons with others?+

Yes. You can share sermon summaries, prayers, and highlights via text message or email. You can also export a full PDF document or create a shareable web link.

How do I delete my account?+

Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This will remove your account and all cloud-synced data. Locally stored data on your device will not be affected.
