Sermon Chat
Ask questions about a sermon or your entire library using natural language.
2 min read
Sermon Chat lets you have a conversation with your sermon library. Ask questions about a specific sermon, explore themes across multiple sermons, or ask for help understanding a passage.
Chatting with a single sermon
Open any sermon and tap the Chat tab. You can ask questions like:
- "What was the main argument in points two and three?"
- "What did the pastor say about forgiveness?"
- "Can you explain the passage from Hebrews in simpler terms?"
- "What would be a good follow-up scripture to read this week?"
Chatting across your library
From the main chat screen (accessible from the home tab), you can ask questions that span multiple sermons:
- "Have I heard any sermons on anxiety?"
- "What have different preachers said about the Kingdom of God?"
- "Find me a prayer from one of my sermons that mentions family."
How it uses your Faith Profile
Chat responses are shaped by your Faith Profile. If you're Reformed, the chat won't suggest Arminian interpretations as the default. If your church has a Statement of Faith uploaded, the chat stays within those doctrinal boundaries.
Tip
The chat is not a replacement for pastoral guidance. For questions about major theological decisions, always consult your pastor or a trusted spiritual leader. Berea's chat is designed for study assistance, not authoritative teaching.
